Where shall we start?
- Earlier this year I came to the decision that it was time to hang up my roller derby camera. After photographing the Atlanta Roller Girls for seven seasons – first as a fan, and for the last 4 seasons as the official photographer – I have decided to move on to other endeavors and interests. I will always love the Atlanta Roller Girls, and working for them will be one of my career and life highlights.
- After burning a bridge with the publisher of Grease, Inc. magazine and no longer being a contributor the Rag Doll feature, I was more than thrilled when Grease, Inc. was taken over by a new publisher – someone I like, trust, and enjoy working with. The new publisher, Brian Whitcomb with Garage 71 radio, has asked me to come back on board as a contributing photographer for Grease, Inc., and I am very happy to announce that I am back looking for Rag Dolls for the magazine.
- A new endeavor for me on the horizon is a website directory of pet photographers who are willing to volunteer their time and talent to photograph rescue and shelter animals. I was moved by the plights of so many animals in need of good homes, and, like a dating site, good pictures of the animals will result in higher adoption rates. Right now I’m trying to come up with a name for the network and a website, but it will be here soon!
