Senior Portrait Success

2010 senior portrait season was a dry one for me, but I ended it on Saturday with a duo shoot – two best friends who also happened to be very pretty girls.

Taylor and her friend Kirsten wanted to do a portrait shoot at Taylor’s grandmother’s house. In spite of the torrential rains and occasional thunder, the location was beautiful. The flowers were in bloom, the trees were green, and the clouds provided a nice soft even light.

Deanna Tolbert/Sasha, my make-up artist for the shoot,  did a wonderful job of making the girls look like they had little make up on, and really accenting their youth and beauty. I cannot say enough how important a good make-up artist is to the success of a shoot.

I photographed each girl separately then some shots of them together. The weather co-operated, and the photos are beautiful. Even Taylor’s mother was happy with the results.

It was a good day and a good shoot!
