For the past 14 years, I had an active home photography studio in the basement of my house. Former and future “real models” spent time there. It has been subjected to fog machines, paint splashes, buckets of chocolate syrup, dogs, kids with birthday cakes, good friends, and good times.
But all good things must come to an end.
Our house in Ball Ground is for sale, and as we make our home available for potential buyers to see, the studio has been closed. Most of the props and wardrobe have been packed away. The homemade photography backdrop stands have been dismantled and put into storage. Weekends, usually spent taking pictures of pretty models or excited seniors, are now spent doing quick cleaning jobs and spending time looking for a new home.
Sometime before the end of 2017 I will be in a new town with new photography opportunities. We will miss our home and our studios, but we are looking forward to the new adventures that await us next.
